Hand and Stone

I always have a problem with pressure. I specially say no deep pressure just light touch. And unfortunately I am always sore the next day to my neck and trapezoid areas. So for those reasons I gave the answers I did.

I thought that the massage therapists were very friendly and inviting. The problem that I had was that during making my appointment, I was not informed that because I used the couple's room, I couldn't utilize the intro offer price. Both massages were $10 extra.

Although the therapist was very professional and effective I felt he spent a lot of time on my neck when I wanted an overall, just time allocation could have been better. There has been a lot of turnover so getting used to new therapists is always a "risk" because you want every experience to be perfect! The receptionist this time was preoccupied, other times they are more welcoming but all in all it was fine, just not up to par with previous visits.

Time for the massage was less than an hour only about 50 minutes

each time the staff seem distracted ...the therapist is very professional.

Room and oil should smell good - should smell "spa" like. Massage should be 60 minutes for price not 50 - as one gets less than 50 by the tine you undress and they speak with you regarding your needs/wants.

Massage started a little late but ended at usual time. I'm sure it wasn't the employee's fault, sometimes it just happens.

I paid over $90 for a service I felt I could've done at home. I wanted to leave with products but all products were over $40.00 and not a good size. I didn't feel my face showed any improvement and was dissatisfied that I couldn't walk away with any products that would further help my dissatisfying areas of my face.

Not the best massage I've had. Too much pressure multiple times after requesting to lessen. My feet weren't massaged -- first time that's happened. No scalp/temple massage either. Using one thumb to place uncomfortable pressure throughout was odd and not relaxing.

On my previous visit to Hand and Stone (for which I was not sent a survey), I was going to cancel my account but I allowed the receptionist to talk me into a bi-monthly subscription instead. However, 1 month later I was billed at the regular interval. I was offered the opportunity to be refunded and billed next month instead, but was offered no other accommodation. I do not feel that my business is valued by Hand and Stone, I don't have as much time as I would like to utilize my subscription, and based on this error, I will most likely cancel as opposed to continue with the bimonthly program. I do not trust Hand and Stone with my credit card information anymore.
