Hand and Stone

I just didn't care for the massage techniques from this particular therapist. I have had better experiences by other therapists from Hand and Stone before.

The only reason I was unsatisfied was due to my service facial with April. It was terrible. My message with Mario was fantastic.

I still have something on my nose that did not get taken care of. Normally when I have a facial all blackheads/whiteheads are gone.

So sorry to write this because I love Hand & Stone...My facial seemed rushed for time. The service lasted 40 min. Although I arrived a few minutes late, the esthetician said that it was fine & that she didn't have anyone after me so not to worry. The service she recommended seemed very pricey for what it was. After I checked out, I received a phone call saying that they undercharged me by $10. I went back to take care of it & they had already charged my card without me authorizing it. I'm very disappointed with my experience. I am hoping this doesn't happen again as I have enjoyed being a member of hand & stone for the past few years. I unfortunately don't feel the service was worth the cost considering I could go to a higher end spa for the same price with better amenities.

The massage was amazing and she focused on all the areas I informed her about.

My massage was great. However I was very cold during my massage. The room was very cold and there was no bed heater.

I would have liked more opportunity to share my daily life to focus on problem areas.

The only small complaint I have is that my massage therapist's nails were too long and dug into my skin throughout the massage, making it difficult to relax at times.

The massage therapist used gloves to do the massage and I was conscious of the weird squeaking sound it was making on my skin. Also, the pressure was inconsistent, sometimes firm and sometimes painful.

Overall my entire experience with Hand & Stone has been great! I do wish there was a mirror in the therapy rooms though for when my treatment is finished just to make sure my hair & makeup are okay.
