It’s hard to book with my massage therapist monthly. I am upset the amount has increased.

I needed a medical note to rec. a facial and I had the note, but not on my person. I am a loyal & longtime customer of Hand & Stone. I should have been permitted to bring note after appt. as I live so close. I had to go home for note and come back which I did, or, be charged a cancelation fee.

As I enjoyed the “experience” of the Hand and Stone quite a lot, the answers were based on the fact that there was no: shower; changing rooms; other options other than the basics provided. I felt the “upsell” of them trying hard to sell me the monthly service and how that would TAKE OFF my services provided. I did not like being made to feel as thought I needed to ask for the exact prices of each service—it was used to estimate my tip—-the $$ amount was very expensive and pricing should include more amenities, such as a spa shower, locker room, etc.The STAFF did remark that, “I certainly know my Math!” Which, I thought, was an odd comment. I will return;I will ask for my same massage therapist and anesthetist as their service provided was excellent! Thanks….this was my 2nd visit as a gift from my husband. I prefer individual services selected by me vs. those selected by my husband - It was a $600 venture and I felt it was extremely pricey.

Beata is the best. Love her massages. Having to wait to check out while people check their schedule, double schedule (or TRY) a massage and facial, then hear them do the sales pitch for Christmas gift cards to the person in front….i waited 6 minutes to check out. That’s not an insane amount of time, but it’s annoying (two check out people would help).

I just wish I could have come in for a massage and left. I left with a membership that I didn’t really want. I know that it’s good to take care of yourself, but I don’t need to be sold a membership in order to come back. In fact, I kind of don’t want to come back because I’m annoyed. I’m not annoyed with the girl who sold me the membership. She was wonderful and sweet. I just wanted to come, get a massage, and leave.

I took this appointment understanding that I would be assigned to a newer masseuse, which was fine. Paige was very nice, attentive to my instructions, and generally gave a good massage. I offer the following comments in the way of constructive feedback: - Her hands were ice cold when she started the massage. I would have appreciated it if she warmed them up before starting the service. - She used too much lotion, which made my skin feel slippery and lessened the intensity of the massage. - She didn't appear to be very experienced in ways to work out knots/tension areas in the middle of my back. I think with time and experience, Paige will become even better at her craft.

It’s the policy not the people. The staff are just doing their jobs. The staff is great.

I appreciate the staff's friendliness and positive attitude. I just didn't feel my massage relieved any tension or pains that I usually feel following a session. I was just not highly satisfied this trip.

They always start my massage a little late and ended a little early. I never get a full hour.

I was given a free peppermint scalp massage due to price increase yet my massage last exactly 50 minutes. How is this free if another part of my body was shortchanged? Scalp massage should be in addition to the regular massage.
