My esthetician got an attitude with me because I could not answer a question quick enough for her she said to me oh you're taking too long to answer so I guess you don't want the extra service very unprofessional

I recently suffered a miscarriage and originally noted pregnancy on my intake form. Then in front of everyone in reception area the receptionist said i need tocreschedule my appt so i can have a prenatal certified massage therapist and i had to explain that i had a miscarriage in front of everyone. It was mortifying. It could have been done in private or rescheduled over the phone. It was hard to relax for services after being so upset.

Lack of available time slots for specific therapists

Calling for an appointment I felt like I was calling a government agency. She seemed angry, like I had already missed the spot. I really liked my massage therapist. She was very nice and very concerned with my satisfaction. I don’t know if I needed the up charge for the foot scrub. After I did it I realize that I was going to get five minutes of something in that time so why am I spending more for a scrub that I could probably buy on my own for less.It wasn’t like it at a time to my massage. So I felt like one thing was stolen for another thing to replace it for extra money. That kind of stunk.

I paid for an 80 min message and it was not 80 min. I am going to try again and see if this is the normal practice.

The receptionist and the store itself met my expectations. I don’t spend enough time waiting so really interact in the reception area. It’s Ashley, who does my massage, who is amazing.

When I first entered, the massage therapist’s mask was down, not covering her nose as she talked. She put it back up,but it kept coming back down.I had to speak up and ask her to please get a new mask because otherwise I would not feel safe.I was actually a little surprised something as basic as wearing a mask properly is not standard practice there. Then she told me she gives firm massages.I wrote on my form I wanted medium, but it turned out to be okay. She asked me other questions too, that I already filled out on the E-form.Is that not looked at? Next thing was her nails were kind of sharp and they dug into my skin every so often during the massage.I didn’t know what to say in that moment but it was uncomfortable.Lastly, after I laid on my back, halfway through the massage, I got a little bit chilly and mentioned it.She did not offer a blanket originally, maybe forgot. She answered by asking me if I was feeling well. I said yes, just kind of chilly, and then asked if she could at least make the bed warmer. She complied with that and that helped a bit.Overall she did a good job getting knots out of my body and massaging, but there were a couple things needing improvement. Thanks
