I usually go to the Hand and Stone in Newtown and I find the massage more rewarding and relaxing there. The woman I use there is wonderful. Maggie in Huntingdon Valley is just adequate.

I paid extra for the foot therapy massage. The massage was still only lasted 50 minutes. The therapist didn't do my arms and upper chest while I was lying on my back. It seems like adding the extra was a trade off. Most spas include hands feet and aroma therapy in a basic massage for about $100.00 for 1hr. I don't feel like this membership is a great deal

when you use 2 services for a 80 min massage instead of wasting 30 dollars you offer me aromatherapy (which other places do not charge you extra for it) or a cbd oil upgrade. I'm a dude I should be able to split my extra service to cover 2-80 min massages. or put my $30.00 toward a well deserved tip. I mean I'm not saving money getting with a membership anymore since you raised our membership fees. I should be able to spend my money the way I want to.

this is not the fault of H&S but i think for now facials should be removed from service. I was explained that i had to wear a mask and I'm more than fine with that but i was told it would be worked around and moved a bit again fine but it wasn't so the only thing that got worked on was my forehead/little bit of the top of my nose, around my eyes and my neck... I understand the precautions and i'm not complaining just think the service should be discounted or discontinued for now since its not really feasible to do. My chin area is a concern for me and it wasn't able to be addressed. I was hoping that the mask would be moved up (still covering my mouth and nose) so that my chin would have received treatment. $90 for a not full facial or really even partial is just to much. AGain no ones fault. I know everything is hard with Covid that's why after the service i think it should be removed or discounted in my opinion.

I’m super impressed that you have hired a knowledgeable and experienced massage therapist. This is the only reason I will be back. Every other aspect is just not on the same par with other spas. I go to a lot of spas. Plus I hate the whole membership way of paying and all the up selling.

Therapist was great and Stephanie at the desk was amazing. Reason for my rating is cancelling process was not easy. I am not left with 7 appointments that need to be used in 90 days. Stephanie was helpful in converting some to gift cards. I’d like to rejoin once things settle down. Time is not on my side right now.

I understand that there are new procedures with appointments regarding the corona virus. Luckily I arrived in the parking lot 15 minutes early because i had to call for 7 minutes before I was able to get through. Then I was told I needed to update a form which wasn’t sent ahead of time. My appointment was at 12:30. I was let into the spa at around 12:35 and I would estimate the service actually started at 12:45ish. She stopped at 1:17pm on the dot - not near 50 minutes. Also, the massage therapist had an issue with having surgery on her foot so she had a scooter she had to readjust each time she went to other parts of my body. Her lotion also wasn’t working properly so the massage at times was dry and there was just lack of continuity in the service because of all the distractions. I love Maxine and I know it’s not her fault but maybe she shouldn’t come back to work until she’s able to work in the allotted space. Thank you.
