Satisfied

My esthetician was very friendly but the facial was a 5 out of 10. My skin didn't feel very hydrated afterwards and that's why I came. The add on's were unnecessary, as was the up-sell. Who wants to have a relaxing facial and 4 seconds after leaving the room be bombarded with the hard sell to join the club and then have products and recommendations. The receptionist was so dingy - I thought she was joking with me she was so uninformed. She had to call me back asking for codes for my coupon (they don't exist). She called to move my appointment time and then said they could accommodate MY wishes?!? She said my appointment was confirmed for 2:28 and the said "Oh wait, no, thats the date". Just really spacey. Waiting area was freezing.

I had a couples massage and my massage therapist wasn’t as involved as my significant other’s. I wouldn’t have been dissatisfied if I didn’t know the experience he had.

This store has been consistently out of stock of the products I wanted so I always have to do a second trip to purchase what I need.

I used the restroom following my appointment. The restroom did not have any towels. I checked the second bathroom and no towels there either. I had to dry my hands using toilet paper. Someone brought a fresh towel so I could rewash my hands before leaving.

Kind of a corporate sterile environment

I didn’t express any so she didn’t address anything. It wasn’t that I was dissatisfied

The Reston location is by far the best experience I have had but overall the therapist I have seen at other locations are mediocre at best. I just can not continue to pay for a service where only two therapist out of three different locations are any good. Also, my FSA does not like Hand and Stone for some reason so I have to pay out of pocket, I did not have this problem before. Reston is not a convenient location for me so I really don't see me going over there on a regular basis. If I lived or worked closer I would consider it because I did have a good massage and the front desk was very friendly and personable. I am not saying that I will never return I just will most likely not be maintaining a membership.

I was satisfied with everything with the exception of the massage part of my visit on this day. I elected the hot stone upgrade but I was not pleased with it. I prefer a more hands on massage. Mike was fine, I just did not like the hot stone as I though I might.
