Hand and Stone

First, I am annoyed that I have been unable to book appointments on the website for the last several weeks. There has been an error message saying that it is temporarily down for booking. I even sent an email and no response. This is my preferred way of scheduling as I can figure out my schedule and who I want to book. Yesterday, I decided to call as see if I could get an appointment for later that evening. My call went to voice mail with a message to leave my number and I would get a call right back. After an hour, I had to call back. At that time, I was able to make an appointment and get in 45 minutes later.

This is the second therapist I felt was not trained properly. I’ve had several massages and this one did not flow as well. I felt it was choppy from one area to the next. She was highly recommended since the previous therapist moved to a new location. Unfortunately she is nothing in comparison the the previous therapist I’ve used. Just not satisfied with this massage.

I felt that the whole session is too short, I’m used to having facial for at least 1.5hrs. The amount of time the mask was left to work on my face was too short. Will be good if the extraction was more thorough.

I was unclear about how add ons should be addressed. I’m not sure that I received the upgrade that I purchased. The room ambience was nice but the location was such that I heard a lot of noise from outside the room (doors opening and closing).

My therapist incorrectly related to my sharing of teacher-parent stress by telling me her side of a stressful experience with her child's teacher. She even stepped toward me, pointed her index finger at me, and told me how she invited the teacher to hire a tutor for her child because she's busy. I think she realized right when I almost asked for another therapist , I must have looked uncomfortable, and stopped. It added stress for me, as I was telling her that I'm a teacher.

The massage was great. My dissatisfaction lies with the fact that booking is difficult. I’ve called and left a message before. Most of the time I cannot get an appointment for the day or time I would like. The online service is terrible. Just get rid of it or allow people to book online

The lights were too bright for my liking. I want to relax, not feel like I am in a waiting room at my dr office. And the music was too loud.

-Online booking has not been working therefore my ability to get some points by booking online is not an option -Other 'offers' provided as you become a member are really not value added including booking online(not working) or adding an extra service with a coupon (only valid during first visit and not offered as you get your first service). -I am the mom of a teenager that gets services and I am asked to be in the room with her - which is totally fine- but the chair for me to be in the room is super uncomfortable. I guess adding a slightly higher quality chair for parents in the room would be greatly appreciated! The technicians are awesome tho, their service makes it worth the visit. Thanks
