The price keeps rising. It's easier to go on groupon and find a new massage therapist for less. The add-ons at Hand & Stone are way to expensive and should be included in the membership price. I also should be able to freeze the membership at no cost for being a longtime client.

I have become discouraged with having to ask for cancellation forms to be sent to be 4 times in the last month, and still nothing received. We are down to one income and one vehicle and I can’t afford to maintain my membership.

I make appointments and they get cancelled by hand and stone. It has happened too many times. If I cancel you charge me if you cancel it like who cares

I was not able to get part of the service I had previously because the person was not trained on it yet.

All the therapists I’ve used prior to this appointment have left. Staying changed frequently. It doesn’t feel like a “spa”, for the cost I think you should have more spa features.

I kept my membership for one person, and she is no longer there. My drive is also a little far.

I was using a SpaWeek gift card, charges were about $119. They took my entire balance (effectively stealing $81) which they put on a Hand and Stone gift card. I had other plans for that remaining balance. I know companies love gift cards because they know people will forget to use them and they get to keep their money. I will use the card, and I will file a complaint with SpaWeek, and I will tell my coworkers about the deceitful practices of Hand and Stone.

way too expensive. was given gift cards that should have covered 2 visits, but used both in 1 visit. therapist was terrific, but I could have had a similar experience and given a bigger tip somewhere else.

When I booked the appointment I specifically asked for a therapist who practiced a deep tissue massage. My therapist asked me what level of pressure I preferred. I stated that I preferred a stronger pressure/deep tissue. During the massage I asked twice for more pressure, but it wasn't to the level of deeper pressure that I've had in the past from another therapist. I was hopeful, but it was lighter pressure than I would have preferred. However, it seems what my therapist did provide did help my neck and back as I do feel better today. Therefore, overall I can't complain too much, because it did seem to help me.

I feel like Nathan spent waaayyy too much time on massaging my hands and arms. I asked for back, neck , and shoulders….and he said “oh, so upper body?”. I said “sure”. I didn’t realize that SO much time would be spent massaging the hands. He did them each about 2-3 times. Also, I was covered in oil when he was finished. He never used a hot towel to absorb the oil and never left a towel for me to wipe off. He was incredibly friendly and constantly asked if the pressure was good and if I was ok. And then the massage just ended. He spent much more time on my right side than the left (because the time was done all of a sudden)
