I have had multiple message therapists throughout my time at hand and stone. I have found all of them to be very professional and curious to my needs and areas of pain.

(Please don't share with them) My massage and facial was much needed. Although I love to talk, I wanted to relax, and I felt like the amount of talking took away from the relaxation part. I would defintily go back, and next time I will mention that I just would like silence more.

In the past I have been asked if I wanted to upgrade my facials. This time, though we discussed my skin, I was not asked if I agreed to the upgrade. I did benefit from the upgrade and I did have enough points to cover the cost but it would have been nice to be asked.

In general I enjoy Hand and Stone- the receptionist knows me, making appointments over the phone is easy (even last minute ones), and a majority of your massage therapists are knowledgeable and skilled. My recent massage was a little uncomfortable- Louis seemed nervous and anxious which made for a bit of a frantic massage at some points, he mentioned ‘getting my money’s worth’ a couple times which was odd, and mentioned the ‘level’ he was at within your company. I will definitely be returning to your spa, but would not want to have him for a massage unless he could reduce his nervousness.

I was down for a facial I don’t even remember scheduling. It’s possible I did this but in the confirmation text it didn’t say anything about a massage and facial and I had to cancel the facial and pay half. I think when you confirm an appointment by text please say what we will be having done. Sometimes you do have to wait a while before your next appointment and you may not remember a double one like this. I honestly don’t remember booking it. I was shocked. But I will return.

The therapists are really bad. I am still a member because it works flexibly in my schedule for when I don't have my son with me but if it weren't for the flexibility I would have cancelled immediately. Every time a good therapist comes they then quit by the next time I can come in so that is always sad.

Room was too bright and felt like a patient room at a medical clinic.

Due to illnesses of the therapists, my massage was reschedule two different times. Which was fine, it just took a week and a half before I was able to get in. The pressure was also a little light after I asked for "firm" pressure. I prefer a very deep massage that you can feel the effects of the next day and that didn't happen this time around. I will have to communicate that better next time.

The spots on my face that I have been trying to get rid of are still there with almost a year worth treatment.
