Hand and Stone

I feel that hand and stone will nickel and dime you all the way to the end. I always do couples massages with my wife. The fact that we have to pay an additional $10 each is ridiculous. We take up less real estate than anyone else. We could book separate rooms and cause hand and stone to lose money by not being able to use a second room for a different client. It makes for a poor experience and I feel that you take advantage of people who want to experience their massages together. No one has ever been able to explain the cost justification to me.

The actual length of my massage was under 50 minutes, probably more like 47 minutes.

It was my first visit and I didn't feel like I had direction of what to do and where to go. The ambiance in general of the massage room was lacking a bit. The receptionist that checked me out seemed irritated with rebooking and made me feel rushed.

I keep getting different people doing my facials and then they are not there the next time. When I find someone I like I would like to keep coming back to them. Turnover is a concern.

Not enough focus on certain areas I wanted. And didn't do whole body.

I had two therapists I really liked that both quit. Then 2 appointments with people I didn't really like. This last time she did a great job but was really not at all friendly, barely spoke to me before or after.

My appointment was cancelled due to massage therapist illness (which I understand). Then rescheduled. Then I was called back and told my appointment could occur on the original date with the original therapist. However, they had given away my original appt so I had to take a less convenient time. Then the morning of the appointment I was called and told the appt was cancelled and they were unable to reschedule for that day or the next.

I had booked with a specific therapist and I guess she no longer works there but I was not told that until the new person called my name. I use to see Tom and I miss him. He recommended Niko.. I will give him a try.

I was very satisfied overal The ambiance of the wait. Or therapy room is not what encourages me to return. I am highly satisfied with the staff

Massage was not the greatest. No technique to massage just rubbed on lotion. Cold lotion. Fast massage when music was slow and relaxing. Abrupt stop and start from one area to another. My 13 year old could have done better. Couldnt wait to get out.
