I feel like adds ons like a simple oil shouldn’t cost $ 30 dollars especially for a member since your already paying your monthly membership feesthat just my opinion of course, I tried it won’t be doing it again.

I was not content with The massage technique. The therapist was nice it’s just not my style.

I just love Alameda Hand and Stone

Generally, I have a great experience with H&S. This last appointment was just a bit awkward. The masseuse did not wear a mask as I had requested.

The hand and stone in alameda has great parking, hours, friendly people. Would be nice if there was a hot herbal tea offered when waiting.

I was satisfied with all my services at Hand and Stone.

Other than I felt being a little pricey for the stone massage perhaps feeling sales pitched to by receptionist. The message was fabulous .. I just need more time and go more often to get these knots out

The massage

The masseuse was great, however, I believe she is overbooked and as a result, rushed my massage and shortened my massage time. My massage started 20 min late, supposedly started at 10:30AM but in actuality didn't get let into the room until 10:45AM and massage didn't start until closer to 10:50AM. And I was let out exactly at 11:30AM. So my time was definitely cut short.

I had put in the questionnaire that I wanted the masseuse to wear a mask, but he did not. When I asked if he was vaccinated, he said yes, and offered to wear a mask, but I shouldn't have to ask after already filling out to wear one. Also, I paid $15 for a scalp massage that lasted less than 2 mins. That's ridiculous, plus it wasn't a good scalp massage.
