Hand and Stone

My therapist seemed a bit young. She didn’t check the pressure during the massage or asked how I was doing. She still did an amazing job but it would have been nice. Then at the end of the massage, the therapist normally sees you out with water. My therapist was not there. Even waited an extra minute but I had to run. Not sure where she went.

Two visits ago the receptionist was too loud and lacked confidentiality in talking about pregnancy. I was shocked. This visit, the staff was disorganized in the correct person being called back for appt.

most times it was fine. good deaths no longer there. the last one was very hands off. hardly any times available when I need them

I just learned that I need to book in advance because everything gets booked really quick.

It books up quickly so it’s hard to find a good time. My massage was good but not amazing. I did enjoy it though.

Overall the therapists are good, but not great. The very good ones tend to get booked up in advance. It seems as soon as I find a therapist I like, they leave Hand and Stone and I need to look around again. This has led to some truly bad massages. There doesn't seem to be enough time set between sessions as my therapists generally run late, which means shaving minutes off the hands-on time so they end on time. Occasionally I will book a deep tissue and arrive to learn that the therapist provided by the online session doesn't do deep tissue...not sure how that happens. Frequently I can't find a slot available that works with my schedule. Hand & Stone is still good value and I will continue my membership, but there is room for improvement.

I usually do not do submit survey because I don’t like to put people down. It’s just that every time I visit this place , I encounter that some of the the receptionists do not seem friendly/ welcoming; they are very robotish, stone faced at times. Not sure if it’s just me; however the masseuse and the esthetician are very friendly and most importantly they smile.

It is so hard to book an appointment that fits my schedule. Also I don't like the idea of having to pay $10 for someone to use my package even if they have been there before. I feel if its for my son who is a minor should not pay $10 every time he uses one of my packages.

The monthly cost should cover more of the service / there should be more benefits for being a member

My facial appointment only lasted 30 minutes instead of 50 minutes and the girl at the front desk wasn’t very helpful trying to make it up for the mistake.
