it being my first time, I didn't know what to expect. I was still happy, it just takes a lot to be highly satisfied.

I have rosacea and was charged extra for a product for rosacea. I think a facial should be one price not based on the product used. The facial was great

I thought my facial was fine - i enjoyed it- I did an add on a foot treatment but I didn’t realize doing that would take away from the facial - normally when I get a facial with out an add on of a foot treatment I would get my hands mosturised or shoulders rubbed- but since I added on the foot treatment I did not get either - so I will not add on again-

The experience was nice. Just trying to find the right massage therapist for me.

My massage specialist seemed a bit off. I was not asked the standard questions before beginning the massage and she seemed rushed. She did hit some target areas nicely though.

The therapist was ok but did not use the kind of technique I am used to. Just different, not bad.

I had a gift certificate for a facial and a massage and gave the number upon booking my appointment, but when I checked out I was asked to pay an additional $80.00. If my gift card could not cover the cost of the service, why was I not told ahead of time?

My initial request was a full body relaxation massage with slightly greater than medium pressure. 2 times I requested firmer pressure and it was either not maintained or not really increased. The massage was more of a mild pat down then a massage.

I purposefully booked a deep tissue massage. When discussing the degrees of the massage, she said that her shoulder was hurting her, so she'd see how hard she could go.... I felt like she should have communicated that with the front desk and my appointment could have been rescheduled. Fortunately she was able rub firmly for my needs, but I was annoyed at first because and wondered about whether or not I should go to the front desk or get ready for the massage. Since I am moving out of the country in just over a week, I decided to go along with it regardless...... Additionally I thought it was ridiculous that the esthetican for my facial had no idea about comparative products/brands that are sold over the counter - high/low end. A little research would be recommended for her so that she can discuss various brands to give feedback about what clients are using vs. what she could recommend that we buy.

About 95% of the time I get massages for relaxation purposes. During this specific massage, the pressure was so intense and sustained, it was very uncomfortable. Despite trying extremely hard, relaxing during this massage was impossible. Elbows jabbed into my sides and rubbed with elbows in my side with circular motion, coarse running of elbows and forearms over nerves and knots in my neck sent temporary darts of buzzing discomfort up and down my body. I've never experienced that level of massage pain before. I started to worry that I would have an involuntary knee-jerk reaction. The therapist was a very kind person but I'd think twice before returning to that individual for a massage. Unrelated, it seems this H&S location has difficulty retaining therapists. I'm not sure if that's an industry challenge but skilled therapists seem to find other work shortly after being hired at this specific location.
