The only concern I had was that my massage therapist mentioned that he was still taking massage classes and was not yet licensed. Although it seemed that he knew what he was doing the fact that he wasn't technically a "professional" concerned me.

First time with Kathy as my massage therapist, it was good, just entirely too much pressure for me and I have a hard time telling someone less pressure. Not her fault.

I got what I expected. It was not so impressive that I would rave about it. It served my purposed. It would be great if I had one therapist who stayed over a long period of time. Turnover is a problem

The receptionist wasn't very friendly and was kind of rude when demanding that I fill out another personal info form without filling me in as to why I needed to fill out another form. I was also disappointed about how it was handled when I requested a different person to do my facial. That is a long story.

It seems the massage time is really less than 45 min.

Overall my visit to hand and stone was great. The therapist could have been more prompt in starting my massage. I was told there were some computer issues. As soon as he knew I was there, he was prompt in getting started. It also felt like the massage was somewhat rushed. Al did a fantastic job, but since we started late, I wasn't sure I got a full hour, but paid for a full hour. There was also some confusion regarding cost with being a new member. The payment process was not adequately explained to me at the time I signed up for the membership.

I just came in for a lip wax. It was satisfactory for such a short appt.

Limited times available which is not usually the case, there was no mention of upgrades or additional services.

While the therapist used the requested pressure (firm), there were times when the therapist would push too hard over bones/joints and not just soft tissues, which is generally something therapists are trained not to do. Recommend the therapist be more attune to working around bones vs over them. In all other aspects, I enjoyed the massage.

I was very satisfied with my experience with the esthetician and the masseuse, however I felt as though the cost of follow up massages and services were unreasonable. The cost of a second visit and even package deals were prohibitive.
