The receptionist on this visit was neither pleasant or friendly. Told her I had a credit and gift card I was using and she still chgd it to my monthly service. She acted very put out when I asked a second time in having her correct it.

The price has risen by $10 a month and that is including those of us who already were monthly members of Hand and Stone. I think those that were existing members should not have had the price increase.

I paid extra for cold stone and didn’t feel like it was used long enough for the cost.nothing was wrong with the experience but nothing made it stand out either.

Receptionist rushed me and did not book my next appointment. Told me I had a facial that I did not schedule and told me to use my points and just do the facial. Very unprofessional! I left very upset and ruined my relaxing mood!

The therapist was new to Hand & Stone, talked a lot during the appointment. This is the first time I had a male therapist and it was a little awkward for me. Didn't like the pressure at some points during the massage which i stated was a little too much. At the end he put his hands under my back to lift me up and fall/relax into his arms. It was odd and he was a bit in my personal space, too close to my face, i could feel his breathe on me. This is 100% my personal comfort level, he didn't do anything inappropriate.

I loved my facial and my esthetician. However, the cost is just a little high. Having the first time reduced price was great, but paying the actual fee for any other service (especially since I can't commit to once a month) is a lot.

The facility is not the cleanest, there needs to be some upgrades to painting etc. The wrap that was used for me to dress in for the facial was stained. The aesthetician was not fully trained/certified for a procedure that I wanted so I had to forgo it.

My therapist was very kind however she talked through the massage and I couldn't fully relax due to it. She told me that she was burnt out from a larger gentleman before me and I found it to be highly unprofessional. She asked about my lower back pain and I showed her my problem areas ; she used that as means to "teach" me about the muscles in my back. Like what activates them and how to deactivate them... Whole time I'm just trying to relax. Somehow our Convo turned to why she chose to be a massage therapist and that's when she told me she used to be addicted to drugs and stole food to survive but she's clean now.... I did not want to be rude and tell her to stop talking but.... TMI ya know....? Also I added the peppermint scalp massage and she did it with my face up and it was burning the actual heck out of my eyes maybe teach the therapist to do a warm rag over the eyes or face down for that because I'll never get that upgrade again. If I was a middle aged white woman I would ask for a refund but instead I'm filling out a survey
