This particular room was right next to the lobby and it was a little noisey. I could hear people laughing. Distracting

I was late for an appointment, and called to say I was late, but on my way. I was told that my massage therapist had left already and to not come. The next day, I was called and asked why I hadn't showed up for my appointment and that I was being charged for the missed appointment. I explained what happened, so they waved the charge, but when they rescheduled my 80 min apt it turned into a 60 minute appointment, but still all my points that were used for the extra time weren't given back to me. So I lost 20 minutes of massage time & value.

I was not satisfied bc I was asked if there were areas I wanted worked on and he only spent a brief amount of time on that.

Everything was great except my therapist was booked back to back and got me started 20 minutes late. Normally I do not care but I had a meeting after my massage. Overall Duncan was wonderful and the place is lovely!

The facial was very nice - but I didn't like the way I was upsold during the treatment. Although I agreed to the additional blue light service - I was not explained what it was or what it did. After I said yes to the service it was informed it was an additional $40.00. I did not feel having the blue light on my face did anything.

While we discussed my particular concerns the therapists technique was a little lacking.

I did not like how I did not know what services were when, when the mask was being put on, I though I was still on a facial and I just felt like it could have been explained more what was consecutively done.

My aesthetician was sweet. She did good but I felt as if she might be new. The gloves felt quite strange on my face. Rubbery and not relaxing. She didn't tell me what was coming next. Sometimes a little shock. Not trying to be dramatic at all just would like to know, I'm applying the cooling gel (or whatever it is if going to be a big change). Communication is key. I don't have to talk about life but I do like to be told what's happening. The others I've had did this. Maybe just me. I think with time she could do great things but I felt I had a very new aesthetician that was learning on me. Please know, I feel she did her best and was really sweet and seemed confident. Now, mind you, I manage a Dental facility and I have new people in our field from time to time so...I get it. I just never have a new person on their own without supervision until I feel they are good to go one on one. I cannot say I'm disappointed in my tx but I feel you get the jest of my experience and I hope it helps to make her better and you guys too. I can only hope to get positive criticism at my office so that I can make it better for my patients. I will be back and I will try the other aesthetician. 😊
