They could have spent more time on the specific areas I discussed with them. Sometimes availability is limited.

I came for an adorable experience and the cost was bumped up and it was very awkward to understand what I was agreeing to.

The message therapist did not concentrate on the specific spot

Often (depending on the provider) I am satisfied the first 20 mins and the pressure gets weakened and I don't want to keep asking for more pressure

The last time I got a facial, one of the staff recommended a cleanser for me and this time they told me the product was not good for my skin type. It was almost $100 and they tried to get me to buy a different one for the same cost. I expressed my concern about the fact that I feel like I wasted money on a product that isn’t suited for me and was met with no solution.

The availability of particular therapists is limited, making me choose between waiting for weeks or using someone new.

I just wanted to treat myself to a relaxing facial, I wasn't particularly concerned about anything in particular. Esthetician just kept telling me all these things that were wrong with my skin (I guess that's her job?) and what I needed to do differently. Implied I was using inferior products. Kept pushing dermalogica brand, felt very uncomfortable. She upsold me on a bunch of stuff I probably didn't need, just felt hard to say no she was saying how much I needed it. For the actual facial, it was good, my skin looked better for a few days. I learned from this experience to state up front if I want that type of suggestions or not.

Just drawing a direct comparisons to other massage places I've been to. Feels a little too clinical and on past occasions you could hear people next door. Therapists are GREAT, but the ambiance needs work.

I thought my message therapist was incredible, and the massage itself was really worth every penny! That being said, when I called to book, I found the receptionist very flustered & a bit chaotic, and she expressed multiple times that she was new to the job. So I really didn’t mind, as she was very nice & everything was booked correctly! That being said, when I got there the next day & it was obviously the same receptionist working, I found it VERY difficult to get any helpful information out of her. I actually found her to be a bit rude/unprofessional about the whole situation in general. For example: When I asked why my gift card for a 50-minute massage didn’t cover the full thing (excluding taxes), her response was “I don’t know, I’m new here. I’ve only been working here for two months!!”… I feel like this is definitely enough time to know where to ask a question if you don’t know the answer. So I just wanted to say something, because I don’t think I’ve ever so awkwardly had someone say “I don’t know why you’re paying this money, but you have to pay it” before like that, so it was just very off putting— especially after a lovely & relaxing massage!

I’m very happy with my massages by Adam.
