Hand and Stone

No real reason. I think for highly satisfied I need above and beyond service

Requested a scalp massage along with facial and was told there would be an additional charge.

I have plantar fasciitis and I never seem to get the best massage in that area. I bring it up a lot but I don't get as definitive an answer on it being able to be massaged or not.

Perhaps have a quieter area for waiting and recovering after your massage that isn’t out front next to the busy door. Not conducive to a peaceful environment to put you in a relaxed state. Felt like I had to take my post water drink as I walked out the door.

Ability to get an appointment that fits my schedule is my main problem with Hand and Stone. Right now I have to book two months or more in advance not knowing what my actual schedule will be at that time, if I can’t make it then I start to get a back log of unused appointments which is just wasting money each each month.

I thought the massage rooms could’ve been a bit less doctors office. I also don’t love how they don’t give you a towel to wipe the oil off.

It took time to fill out the lengthy questionnaire but I do not feel it was looked at prior to the massage. They did not know what areas I needed worked on. Virtually no pressure on legs and arms. Shoulder and neck area was great pressure. One thing that would have been nice would have been for the therapist to have waited for me after the massage, walked me to the front, and maybe offered some water.

Facial was very nice and relaxing but I personally have had better at resorts and hotels.
