Hand and Stone

I prefer a firm massage, and there are only a very few masseuses who give such a massage, and it is very difficult to get an appointment with them since I work and have to have an appointment from 5 pm onwards. The person I book for my facials is great, and I can usually get an appointment with her, but the massages are a different matter.

All an all for a first time experience it was good I felt it could’ve been better but there were no major dissapointments I would need another go to see if it was just a first time thing

The amount of peppermint oil used was WAY TOO MUCH and very uncomfortable. It made my eyes and throat burn and made it hard to breathe. It was very difficult to relax because of this.

Perhaps the deep tissue massage could have been done with a lighter pressure

Erin is excellent. I look forward to my next massage with her in June. I was not as pleased with facial by Maureen. She was very nice, though.

My massages never go for the actual time that is intended, every appointment is shorter than the intended time and it’s frustrating.

I normally request Jason to do my massage and I am highly satisfied with him. He was not available this time so I tried a new person and I didn't care for his style of massage.

The massage was fine. Alexis was kind and seemed to care but I mentioned areas that I was experiencing pain and she did not pay those areas special attention as I thought she would. She just did a general, overall massage. I have had amazing massages in the past...this is not near the top of the list. I kept waiting for her to address my ankles, legs and lower back but she simply massaged it just like the rest of me and before I knew it, it was over. I know you give time for dressing but 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after is alot. It turns the 60 minutes I paid for into a 40 min massage. That was disappointing.

I was satisfied with my overall experience. I received a full body massage. My masseuse asked if I needed firmer pressure, I said yes. They only used the firmer pressure for a short amount of time. Their hands were extremely dry and felt like they had longer nails, so sometimes it felt harsh against my skin / tickled me at times (we are in a pandemic so it’s obvious that’s why hands can be so dry from washing), which did take away from the massage for me personally. Overall, the masseuse was very polite and made me feel relaxed.

The contract was not gone thru very thoro and the phone call to facility did take sixteen days wait for new appt. The monthly member fee is hi during this CoVid years.
