I was more sore the day after my massage than I was before the massage. Otherwise everything was good

The massage therapist was not very engaging. I was late for the appointment and I acknowledge that as being my own fault. However, the Massage Therapist reminded me that areas would have to be skipped because I was late. Perhaps it could have been worded differently?

Should supply some sort of damp towel to help wipe off the oils/lotions used during the massage

I would say I was highly satisfied/satisfied. It was a great experience and I would come for another one the only thing I will say is that I didn’t realize there were different kind of facials. But I used a gift card so maybe that is why.

2nd prenatal massage and i mentioned a problem area and while the area was addressed it could have been the focus of the massage.

When I arrived, I was given a tablet in order to complete a detailed medical history. When it was time to submit my answers, it turned out that the receptionist had the tablet set up for a different client, and, after I spent several minutes entering all of my information, she cleared all of the information I had just entered (I had reached the end of the questionnaire and it was at the page for my signature). Then, because it was past the start time for my appointment and my massage therapist was standing there waiting for me, she just sent me back with him and said he could just take my information verbally. So, right before my massage, I was feeling annoyed. The massage was good, but the front desk experience was not.

Given the Covid levels in the area, I wore a mask. I did not like that I had to tick a box to request that the masseuse wear one, and when she came in to ask what I wanted that day, she was not wearing it, though she was when she came back for my massage. Given the current state of things, I think it should be standard policy for the therapists to wear masks, given the tiny rooms and intimate proximity. The onus should not have been on me to request it.

After my massage, I got dressed, opened the door, and looked for my massage therapist but I could not find her to thank her personally. I went out to the reception area, thinking perhaps that she might have gone out there, but she had not. With other massages at other spas, the therapist usually meets you with some water and you have the opportunity to thank her and say how wonderful the massage was. I thought it was an odd way to end an otherwise excellent experience.
