My massage time felt like it was cut short, as my massage started a little later than my schedule time but ended before it should have ended even if it had started at the correct time.

The massage therapist skipped around from one part of the body to another. The massage was not fluid. At the beginning of the session, she demonstrated helpful stretching which was not requested.

I do not know if the massage was effective yet as i cannot tell and they said I have to wait two weeks. Also, the massage seemed like a general type, I wonder if more attention can be paid to the left leg and backside to relieve the problem, again, I don't know. I hope this can be done.

Pressure was too firm and at times painful. BUT I should have said something to the massage therapist and didn’t.

I paid for a 50 minute massage without realizing I really paid for a 50 minute time slot. I was taken back to my room on time and Alicia came in to the room at 2:05 after I was undressed. The hot water bath was not set up properly which did not seem like Alicia's fault but she had to leave the room to get a cup to empty some of the water. She was quick, but it was still time I lost from the massage. Alicia was excellent and cared to all my needs, she was also cautious of my injured ankle. She finished the massage at exactly 2:50, so I probably only received a 40-42 minute massage. I realize this is not Alicia's fault and probably just Hand & Stone's policy/procedure but the advertising is deceiving. Early check in should be allowed so customers can receive the full 50 minute massage.

I had expressed to the therapist I collected stress in my neck & shoulders. I was surprised the service ended before she worked there plus her nails were a bit too long

Did not receive the full 50 minutes for the second time in a row even though I said at the beginning I wanted the full 50. Started late even though I was 10 min early. Room was too bright, music could have been louder. Had lower back pain later that night and upper back felt horrible (knots not fully worked out and felt worse).

The main things that stuck out to me as less than satisfying were that 1) I was not temperature screened before going into my appointment, 2) I after finishing my massage, the guests in the lobby area were louder than I would have preferred, and 3) the room for the massage was cold and the bed was not heated.

I was uncomfortable with someone at the front desk only wearing a face shield but no mask. I do not think that adequately protects either the wearer or people around them. They did not take clients' temperatures either.
