I love hand and stone! I wish that there was an option to shower/use a locker room post massage. It would be nice to be able to shower off the massage oils before returning to every day life.

The massage was only ok and the therapist was a bit chatty for my taste.

Empty water cups in the waiting area, clutter and a full suite of people made it less relaxing. I could tell my masseuse was new... I requested she focus on two sections of my back and hamstrings, but I felt like she spent equal time on each section of my bod and didn't really focus where requested. Reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

When I booked my and my mother's appointments by phone, I was told I'd either have a male therapist or a female who could provide a "strong" massage which I prefer. I ended up with a female, which was fine, but according to a staff member, she was considered the "most gentle" of them all. Overall, she did a nice job, but I would have preferred a stronger touch. My mother actually got one of the stronger therapists but she did a nice job with my mom. They both did a nice job with explaining what they were doing and what we were to do, and we both felt comfortable with them.

I have been to many spas for facials and have never had a reaction to the treatment. Within an hour of my leaving there, my skin felt very tight and the skin under and around my eyes were red and burning, almost like sunburn. Aside from that, one thing I always notice and appreciate walking into a spa is the smell. I find soothing smells like eucalyptus very relaxing and that wasn't the experience here. That's just a personal thing for me and wouldn't necessarily stop me from returning, but, I do find that part of the whole experience.

My massage therapist was excellent, she was very nice and put me at ease. I did feel like she was still learning, and I didn't feel like the stiffness in my neck was worked out all the way. And at check out I was very confused about the membership program and didn't understand it after the receptionist explained it. Overall, though, it was a good experience. Just also very expensive.

I am a member and had numerous packages accumulated, so along with the facial I booked an 80 minute massage with an add on foot treatment. The massage appt was 10 AM...I was taken to the room about 10:05, and the massage started approximately 10:15 AM. I assumed the late start would be accounted for. However, when I was told my service was complete and I sat up and saw the time, it was 11:29 AM. That is just about 75 minutes...yet the massage was supposed to be 80 minutes, plus an add on foot treatment (maybe another 5-10 min). I did not say anything as the environment is calm and I was trying to stay relaxed...I really didn't want to complain or make a scene. However, I felt I was "short-changed" and did not get the full massage I paid for. The foot treatment became part of the time allowed for the massage, plus even that was decreased by 5 minutes (75 minutes total instead of 80 mimutes).

The touch was too light when I mentioned several times to apply more. I felt like I was rubbed more than massaged. It was still good but not what I was looking for. Also the massage started at like 11 12 And ended 11 57.
