Hand and Stone

I was in treatment room 6 at 6pm on Tuesday evening for an 80 minute massage. The massage was great as always. However, there must be a break room near room 6 because two people were having a loud conversation for what seemed like my entire session. It was very distracting. I really couldn’t enjoy the experience and I certainly couldn’t relax. It was a big disappointment for me. I did not say anything to Angel or to reception because it didn’t seem like anything could be done about it in the moment. I would however appreciate it if I could avoid this treatment room for all future appointments.

The adjoining rooms or areas can be heard in the rooms. Maybe more insulation needed?

Very problematic area that's going to need many weeks if not months to loosen. I felt she hit that area but didn't give it enough pressure or attention. Everything else was fabulous!

The only things I noticed were that the stones were kind of cold at first, and then suddenly got very hot on my skin. I got used to it, but it was a bit of an intense contrast. I also noticed that apparently the back of my head started to hurt after I'd been laying on my back for a while. Not sure if the therapist could have done anything about that, as it maybe a strange quirk of mine. I also felt like I wanted another bolster under my legs, as my lower back was starting to ache slightly after laying on my back for a while. This also may have been due to cramps. There was also no position that I felt I could put my arms in where they were comfortable (laying on my back). The table is slightly too narrow for them to rest freely without hanging off the edge slightly, which put pressure on my elbows. I had to keep changing their position. Overall it was a great experience and I've rebooked for later this month, it's just those minor discomforts made me give a lower rating.

From the flyer, I was expecting hot towels on my feet, but did not happen. Everything else was fine

Added peppermint scalp massage but definitely not worth it.

I was Highly Satisfied with Wendy, who took very good care of me and the gal who runs the place seems to have it all together. I find the extra add ons for a facial to be very costly and confusing. The receptionists did not seem to know how to explain the cost structure.

I had my lip waxed and was cut while she was removing a hair with tweezers. It is small cut but it was not addressed after it happened.

Got a scalp massage which i have done many times... hair was a rats nest after.. never moved fingers from when they were....could have been a 1000-x better. also overall appt was less than 50 mins ... could have rubbed shoulders or something .... it was fine but would not do facial again with that individual
