Hand and Stone

There was some noise from outside the room that could be heard during the massage. The room was number 9 (very close to the front of the spa). Sounded like it was coming from the space next door (dry cleaner business?)

It was a good experience. Reserved the Highly Satisfied distinction for an exceptional experience.

Reserve such a rating for extreme cases. The therapist does a great job. Best I've had in the area. Moved from another city and had an incredible massage therapist whose credentials are a hard act to follow.

There always seems to be room for improvement.

My wait time was longer than expected. My esthetician informed me that I was her last client of the day which was number 6. I'm sure she was exhausted which is why it took her longer to get me from the reception area.

I lost my favorite gal a while back and I have not been 100% happy since that. However that is not why I am dropping my membership. It’s finances at the moment.

My massage appointment started 15 minutes late during a day when I needed to keep a schedule; and the appointment ended after 75 (not 80) minutes. I was in the massage room closest to the reception area, and was able to hear conversations and noise loudly. Speaking of noise, this Hand & Stone is adjacent to a dry cleaners. Every time the dry cleaners rotated the carousel of clean clothing, I could hear it clearly through the wall. I asked the therapist to turn off the music in the massage room. She did so; however, I could still hear it playing. Overall, it was a noisy massage experience. Please note, apart from slightly truncated service, the therapist did good work.

I could hear the conversation from the next room.

Although I liked the massage therapist as a person I didn’t feel much relief. I left feeling the same as I came in. She was unable to work out the knots I have (not enough pressure). She was great but not for someone that has the amount of stress & knots I have. I’ll try a different therapist next time.

I like hand and stone I wish they had a option to book online services like when I signed up and then it stopped working that was disappointing.
