Whenever I book my massages I always ask for firm pressure and so far have been satisfied. When I try someone knew the receptionist always says they do firm pressure. Amanda did not. She was very nice but did not relieve my knots and sore spots. She had a very light touch which was relaxing but not what I asked for when I booked. The receptionist told me that they are supposed to charge extra for the deep tissue style massage which I had never been charged before. Is there a difference between firm pressure and deep tissue? I did not understand there to be in the past.

The waiting room is too small for comfort. Please consider eliminating the coffee table . The seating to table proximity is too narrow to allow one adult to walk by, while another is completely seated.

The ambiance of the place is weak; it has the feeling of a mall store, it has an aura of cheapness to it. The staff are nice, the massage therapist seemed to be skilled. I think the prices are a bit high for the quality/level of massage you get. Also - I specifically requested a 90 minute (or 80 - whichever) - and ended up getting a 50 minute. I have NEVER had a BAD massage there from the masseuse standpoint - I've just never been to a massage place with worse ambiance. Additionally - I almost never can get a massage when I would like - lesson learned for me is you have to book WAY in advance. Folks - not trying to be negative - I think if you had someone work on the ambiance of the place the experience would be much better. When you walk in - the outside world should disappear.

Deep tissue massage not what I thought. Assumed it would be more pressure than a regular massage, but actually quite the opposite. Felt better relieved during a regular Swedish than a deep tissue and a Swedish is half the price.

Appointment availability does not fit my schedule

Was happy with my facial, however I sat underneath the steamer for at least 8 minutes. A massage of some sort during that time would have made the experience more enjoyable. About half of my appointment was spent "waiting" for steam, or waiting while my mask set. Those "down times" should be utilized as hand massages, etc. This used to happen, but has not recently.

just felt the facial wasn't as good as ones I had in the past. Everything was very quick. The esthetician Loved the Nuface treatment though.

I had a 50 minute session. It started 10 after the hour and she was done working on me 10 minutes before the hour. As you do the math I didn't get what I had paid for. She applied the lotion directly on me which was cold and in the end put a warm towel under my neck (not even wrapping it around my neck) and said that she was done and left. Not once did she massage my neck or shoulders once I was on my back. I would never want to have her again.

It was a satisfying massage.

The therapist pressure was a little firm.
