Hand and Stone

Both a massage and facial were scheduled. The morning of the appointment, I was called and told the massage could not be done as the therapist called in sick. the massage was therefore canceled.

I got a text message a few hours before my schedule appointment that my appointment was being cancelled because the therapist was unavailable.

The only reason I stay with this place is because of Rachel my massage therapist.

Everything was great

Appointment started late even though I was there more than 15 minutes prior. I had to remind them of products I had paid extra to be used during the service.

My husband had recommended Kahlen for my facial, so I had specifically booked my appt. with Kahlen. When I arrived, I said I was here for Kahlen, but the receptionist may not have heard. The treatment was fine, no problems with my entire experience, but when I got home, my husband and I were comparing notes about Kahlen, and when I said she was turning 40 next year, he said..."You didn't have Kahlen, then". So I called Hand and Stone, and they said I had Erin. Don't get me wrong...Erin did a fine job. But I was dissatisfied in that I was given a different esthetician than who I booked/who I wanted, and when I called, all I got was "sorry about that". I spent 2 credits specifically to have the same esthetician my husband books with, and because I didn't ask, and Erin didn't introduce herself, I didn't know I didn't have who I booked with. I feel perhaps I should be given some kind of credit so that I can now book with who I had wanted in the first place. I was dissatisfied with the response, and that nothing was offered to "make it right".

As I travel around the world, most spas include an aromatherapy experience when you walk in the room. I would appreciate this as the linens often have an unpleasant smell.

Sale push does not help the relaxation

This was my first time coming In for a men’s facial. The men’s facial isn’t for me. I thought you were supposed to get a neck message included in the facial.

It doesn’t seem the therapists are highly skilled. There is a few good ones, but seems like most of them aren’t ‘great’. I look forward to these monthly massages and I’ve only had 1 good massage.
