Hand and Stone

It was my initial appointment so we spoke in detail about my skin and what was recommended. This however meant it was not as relaxing which I am fine with for my initial appointment but I would like less talking at following appointments.

The massage was felt rushed and my therapist talked entire time..

I tried to book online & the appointments were not available but, when I called there were openings.

My massage was great. I will continue seeing my massage therapist monthly. My facial was actually the opposite of relaxing. I felt lectured the whole time and did not feel any skin benefits. My skin felt more dried out and very red after treatment even though I paid for an upgrade that I was told would prevent redness. It took more than the hour I expected so I was late for something I had to do after.

Appointment was 20 minutes late. We were told they would make up time once massage began. Began at 1:20 pm for a 55 minute massage. Massage ended at 2:00 pm. Didn’t not do what they said. Only received a 40 minute massage for the price. This was for our couples massage that we paid more for too.

The point system is terrible now. I can’t use them like I use to due to the changes. Paying for services too much out of pocket like I don’t have a membership since I get Hot Stone or Himalayan Massage. Not only do I tip which isn’t a problem but I always have a $20 or more additional money coming out to pay for $50 minute massages anymore now. I don’t mind paying additional for those 80 minutes Hot Stone Massages because it is much more, but when I have lots of points and have scheduled appointments in advanced and have to pay additional money for 50 minute massages that aren’t Swedish massages it makes me consider going to a more upscale spa resort if I am going to start paying more on top of my membership price of $59.95 for a 50 minute Himalayan massage I will start going to another massage place that is setup more like a spa resort.

It was my first facial and I didn’t know anything. It wasn’t clearly explained that I would be using two of my sessions for once facial and it was in less than 60 minutes. Not very relaxing, felt rushed. The associate was very nice though. Just didn’t explain what I would be paying for.

Facial was excellent, massage was poor.
