Hand and Stone

I have been to other spas> It seemed like a really good facial initially, but now that it has been a few days I see that it didn't "last" as long as one I've gotten before. I could see and feel the difference for nearly a month after my facial with this other spa. After visiting Hand and Stone, on the next day I could barely tell that I had a facial service done.

My appointment was moved due to construction in the location to one hour later. A message was left requesting me to call if that change was not acceptable. I didn’t call and rearranged my schedule. Upon arrival I saw that someone else had been booked during my original session and it was not in fact unavailable because of construction.

Massage was not as good as normal. I felt like it was late to start.

I've never had an issue with the services. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. However the price for massage is too expensive for the time spent on the massage. In actuality we are only getting about 40 mins of massage for $70 dollars now.

I booked 2 months in advance for my friend and I. It was my wedding gift to her. Booked a Himalayan stone massage for both of us but she did not receive. Reception told us she was not qualified to do that.

There was a weird smell on and off in the room and it wasn't me. My massage therapist only fully massaged the back of me. When I turned over the front of my legs nor the top side of my feet were massaged.

I was satisfied. The esthetician was very kind and friendly. But I was expecting an hour of. Facial and it was 45 minutos.

I visit a few different locations in Houston and Memorial is usually great! Theonly reason I’m not highly satisfied is a) I was in pain during the session due to pressure and they didn’t exactly adjust. Then they scheduled me for 2 hours, with 2 therapist. They made me switch rooms which kind of ruined the experience. They should’ve just booked that room for 2 hours.

The pressure applied for this massage and previous appointments are less satisfactory or not the pressure I am looking for.

I really liked the guy who massaged me. He did a good job on arms, back & back of legs. He used perfect amount of oil & pressure. He is very cordial & professional. When I laid on my back = not much massaged= he was rubbing under my neck = thought to loosen for massage = just a hand motion back & forth with no pressure. I wondered if he was just giving his hands a break. He could have done arms & feet. I did tip him $20 in cash. I would have prefer more pressure/massage on back laying on stomach, as not really a massage done while laying on my back.
