Hand and Stone

I felt the collagen really wasn’t necessary and when I woke up the following day I had 3 large pimples. 2 on my right side of my face & 1 in the left side of my nose.

I came in on time but had to wait longer then expected after the time my appointment was to start. She forgot to do the extraction and ended up doing it at the very end. The session ended 10 mins before the hour was up. So I felt I had been cut short by about 12 minutes of my fascial.

I usually go to the location closer to my home, however that location never has available appoints for facials for people who work a regular job schedule. Last time I went to the location by my house I had to wait 20 minutes before I found out the aesthetician was not even in the building. I drove 20+ min to go to a different location since I am a member and I was at my appointment before the aesthetician. She once professional once we got started amd I love the products hand and stone uses but y’all need some new employees.

When I made my appointment on Wednesday I was told my therapist would be Elizabeth. When Elizabeth came out and asked for me she was told by the front desk that I would not be her client and that another client would be taking my time with her. It was explained to me that Elizabeth was requested and therefore I would have another therapist. It came off to me like someone requested Elizabeth AFTER I booked my appointment on Wednesday and they just decided to move me and not tell me until 5 minutes after my appointment was to start. The odd thing is I showed up 15 min before my appointment time and when I checked in the receptionist asked if I was someone else so that adds to the fact that it seems they all knew this but chose not to say anything to me at point of check in. This comes off as very unorganized and unprofessional.

The upselling at the beginning of the massage was annoying. I just wanted a good massage but felt like I wasn't going to get one because I was being upsold on deep tissue, stones, aromatherapy, etc. Also the lights were way too bright in the massage room. Hard to relax.

The massage therapist could have spent a little more time on my problem areas. What she did do on my neck and shoulders wasn’t really enough to relieve the tightness and pain. She was otherwise very thorough.

I was highly satisfied, but wanted to mention that my massage therapist's nails were long. Her technique was fantastic, but she was scratching me unfortunately.

There is a lack of therapist availability. The Plano location has cancelled over half of my scheduled appointments because of therapist changing their schedule.
