Hand and Stone

I had a great experience for my service, however my boyfriend did not. I sent in a letter yesterday to the general hand and stone email to voice those issues.

Appointment did not start on time. New receptionist lacked a bit of professionalism. She was complaining about another employee and potential drama because a customer was not signed up for membership.

The masseuse talked a little too much but she was good. I did ask for aromatherapy however she didn’t do that.

I was fortunate enough to book Vanery as my massage specialist the first time I went. She was great, and I usually book her. She's good identifying loosening the muscles and when to apply pressure. One time I went to sleep during the session. However, she only works on Saturdays which doesn't always fit with my schedule. So I tried new therapists during the week, but they didn't get anywhere near her performance. Each time I told them where to focus, but it felt like an overall "rub down" rather than using technique applying pressure to get rid of the tension. One therapist hands were ice cold when she touched me that I shrieked! I decided to stop the monthly program and only reach out to Vanery when my schedule allows, because it's a waste of money to pay for a massage and not enjoy it. I should receive the same quality with any of the massage therapists.

my appt was for noon and they called my back at 12:18 then our pre facial discussion ran in to more of my time but I was done by 1. So I'm paying but not getting my time? In my previous facials I also received neck/shoulder massage so I was disappointed when that did not take place. All of this is why my tip was low.

The ambiance is quite different than Addison location. Prefer Addison. But massage itself was good.

Still left feeling sore. Relaxes but sore

I would have expected the neck and decolletee areas to be included in my facial along with hand and arm massage as I've had in other spas

Overall really nice. Thought therapist could have been a little friendlier or verbally ask about the pressure level. I did an add on and thought it should be in addition to time of massage and not reduce massage time.

I was not impressed with the quality of products to use for my facial I had some skin irritation and some breakouts as a result of my facial. Also in previous massages there is been aromatherapy and hand and stone did not have any scented oil’s or anything for my massage
