Hand and Stone

It's difficult to book online so I had to call. When I called I had to call back again to actually book the appointment. Otherwise, my massage was great. Thanks to Rene!

On my last appointment my facial and massage times were switched without consulting me. I check my emails and that’s how I found out to call and switch them back. When I got to my appointment the masseuse I had booked left and they switched my appointment to someone else. Once again, no one had called to ask or inform me. I was supposed to have the head massage therapist so I was disappointed. There was no communication.

*You can not get a "walk-in" appointment, they are simply not available here. *All the really good therapists have left or will leave. *Gratitude is EXPECTED, we are paying for them to do their job and a bonus. The gratuity is very a awkward at the counter. Why I am considering cancelling my membership: Kyle and Shirley are currently the ONLY best you have--do something to keep them. They are not available at times when I need to come in, not do you have times available.

Am satisfied with my massage therapist Diana.

A full hour dedicated to just my lower half and almost didn’t do anything to my calves, even after making the comment to beat my calves up. When working on my glutes she hyper focused on the side directly over bone almost the entire time. She would move her hand to barely tap another spot for a second and then go back to the bone spot to hold pressure countless times on both sides. She would ask how the pressure was but then when told to up it i felt zero difference (i don’t think she was choosing not too but that she just isn’t capable of exerting the amount of pressure i was asking for) even with using her forearms and elbows. When i originally told her in the beginning of my 2 o’clock session that i wanted a very hard pressure but no elbows she looked like a deer in headlights and then proceeded to dismiss my misgivings about why i didn’t want elbows used…. then in the middle of the session i changed my mind in the hopes of achieving atleast somewhat of a pressure i desired to no avail.

Everything was satisfactory. I wish the pricing was more in line with the service, I feel it is a little overpriced for membership service.

Not sure why is such a high turnover whether it be company or personal therapist reasons but every therapist I truly found relief with I am informed they aren't employed there anymore... I as incredibly upset when I went for my 2nd appt with Brock and no one told me until I arrived that they switched my therapist because Brock no longer worked there... his massage technique is why I signed up. He truly relieved a lot of areas I have had pain for years and listened to me and was very professional. Kimmie did the same and they are both no longer employed there I found out at my last visit. I didn't care much for the other 2. I am pregnant now and really am needing more regular massages and hope to find a therapist that is more committed otherwise I will be canceling. My 2nd and 4th massages I barely had any relief

The only problem I had was that they told me I was scheduled with someone that wasn’t Daniel when I was told at the time of making the appointment that it was Daniel who would be my therapist. I was told when I came in to get my massage that someone changed it without my permission. I was very upset. Daniel agreed to get me a massage for a half hour which made me happy that I could at least get half the time in. He was awesome, however it was a major problem that someone in the office went in and changed my appointment and put me in with someone else. I was told by one of the receptionists that the person that changed my appointment without my knowledge was fired for their actions. That at least made me feel better knowing that the person who do it is no longer working for hand and stone. I don’t want that to happen again. I am very particular with who I am comfortable with giving me a massage.

I mean their is always a wait. Just time spent getting into the appointment. It did end 5 minutes early about a 45 minute massage for 90 dollars
