The technique for the problem area on neck and upper back was not my favorite. I have had had much better massages for that area at Hand and Stone w other therapists. Her draping technique was also at times awkward, other than that the massage was good.

Called to change appt 2 days before to the next hour. Was told it was still with LAnce. Called that day to say i freed up and see if he happened to still have 7 pm. He did not - no problem - so i kept my 8 pm appt. Was till told it was with Lance. Got there and it was with Dennis. Apparently Lance is taking paternity time and they booked me with his supervisor. Certainly understandable though not clear why i had to meet the person to find out why it was changed since i had called 2 days before and again that evening.

Appointment did not begin on time. They did acknowledge it and apologize, which I appreciated but I arrived 15 minutes early to do my part. She concentrated on my areas of interest while lying face up, not very effective when it’s the neck and shoulders that are the concerned areas.

Both times not taken back on time. Massage started late, however it ended on time. Was shorted out of 5 minutes in a 50 min massage. However next time I am saying something if we start late. Therapist massage was wonderful!

My facial was phenomenal. Massage was fine. I gifted some of my packages to someone for Christmas and booked us both for massages and facials. When booked I explained what to schedule and when the recipient of the gift switched rooms they were not provided the service. Thankfully the aesthetician was able to correct it since it was not booked properly and provided the service after I was finished. I was also uncomfortable with massage tech waiting for her tip while I was trying to get us checked out.

There is always room for improvement. The chairs in the lobby are getting a bit worn, but it was clean and a good experience.

The LMT Kyle was fantastic. Easily the best I’ve had at H&S.
