Hand and Stone

The inability of the aesthetician to provide concise information regarding the differences in the facial treatements was disappointing. Although referred to the differences online it was not helpful in the moment.

I always enjoy my visits to Hand and Stone. This visit was good but not up to the stellar standards I have experienced in the past. The reception area was relaxing and tidy but there was quite a bit a dirt built up beneath the chairs. My therapist called my back 5 mins after my scheduled appointment...this may be a normal time frame window, just not my typical experience. My therapist was very nice and effective but quite short which led to a lot of additional body contact between us during the massage. NONE OF THE CONTACT WAS INAPPROPRIATE, just a bit awkward.

Overall I was satisfied with my experience. The Esthetician’s have good knowledge of products and the staff is very friendly. I will more than likely return within the year.

Front desk team seemed disorganized. I was paying for myself and my boyfriend (he had a gift certificate I gave him) they kept getting the total incorrect. First failing to apply his gift certificate, then not giving the $15 free add on I was promised as our original appointments were cancelled by hand & stone due to no fault of my own. Then I was charged for a skin care product I was told would be free as I bought the nutone facial enhancer upgrade. So I ended up paying for a product I was told was part of the package as a special for May. The esctecian had even shown me a paper stating as much. It was just a hassle checking out I just payed for that item. After I finally got her to apply my boyfriend’s gift certificate and the $15 credit for his foot treatment enhancement.

The receptionists are horrible, rude, and sassy. They are a bunch of idiots and I wouldn’t trust them to do anything right. Thank goodness they don’t give the massages or facials because I would never come back if they did.

Membership options were not fully explained. So because of my thwarted intention, unfulfilled expectation and their undelivered communication I was upset.

I was highly satisfied with the massage I received. I really like Matthew so far. He has been my favorite out of everyone that has given me a massage. I look forward to my next visit.

1. I have been unable to book online for months now. 2. The appointments never last 50 minutes. I don't blame the therapist or esthetician, I blame the management for how it is running things. I arrive on time or early for every appointment. I am always kept waiting past the scheduled time to begin, but somehow the appointment still always ends at 50 minutes past the hour.

Being my very first visit, I was unable to put Highly Satisfied since I have yet to have anything to compare it to.

I was satisfied with my experience at Hand and Stone because of the ambience and the friendly staff. I did see an improvement on my skin with the unclogged pores; however, I left the visit with my skin feeling dry which caused redness. A day later, my skin looks and feels the same as before the visit.
