I enjoyed the massage and the therapists. I was a little disappointed that the massage came in a bit under the 50 minutes that it was supposed to go. When the therapist was massaging me, it was very satisfactory. I was just disappointed that it seemed to start late (through no fault of mine) yet still finish as if it had started on-time. Again, i feel the service was great, just not as long as promised.

Im very tired of having the very expensive products always recommended. I have already bought hundreds of dollars in products but it seems whenever I say that I already have that then a new one is needed. The products are extremely over priced and much cheaper on line or through amazon.com. I would buy more in the store if they were not so expensive. I feel EXTREMELY pressured into buying these products which only stresses me out after having a what is to be relaxing treatment.

The receptionist was new and was not able to book me for a mini hot stone massage.

To be highly satisfied I think I would need tp be "wowed" by the over all experience. As a Larson who has gotten massages asst various different spas, this experience was great, but not the best I have ever had.

Some of the pricing and policy are unclear and seem confusing and can come off as deceiving.

Overall my experience has been well. This was the first month of my membership. However the esthetician that gave my me first facial is no longer there in just one month. Additionally, my massage therapist had an odor to his breath which I didn't like during the shoulder part of the massage where our faces are in close contact. It should be suggested that they chew gum, mints, or take a quick rinse before client care.

One of the frustrations I have with Hand & Stone (and similar places -- Massage Envy, Massage Heights, etc.) is that it seems that once I get 'attached' to a therapist, they end up leaving. Seems like there is a lot of therapist turnover. The therapist I had this time was good, but not as good as the one who left (Josh). So now I'll have to try and find someone new that I like at Hand & Stone. I won't spend more than one of two more appts looking, though. If I don't find someone I really like, I'll cancel my service. It's just frustrating.
