Hand and Stone

My esthetician met me at 210pm and I walked out of the room at 249pm. I thought the session should have been longer. I feel the session was rushed because she was running behind (which she admitted).

I did not get my requested massage therapist. I had scheduled with Brian and was out with mark. I don't know why, nor was it explained when I asked.

The masseuse missed several locations where I was having pain (lower back). While receiving the scalp massage the masseuse rubbed so long in one spot my hair was twisted into knots.

Therapist did not address items marked as concentration areas on my form and discussed prior to start of massage. I asked for medium to firm pressure and when asked if it was ok, it was towards the beginning and it was fine. It seemed to get lighter and lighter as the appointment moved on. Just running his hands over me instead of putting some pressure on problem areas as discussed. I would have liked the neck and shoulder areas to have been "worked" out some. They were not worked on hardly any at all. I don't like to talk during the massage and didn't want to have to stop him and explain this to him. I thought he understood before we started. It would have been an ok massage if it had been my first ever, I guess, but I expected much more than just an overall light pressure pressing and stretching. Some kneading to the neck and shoulders and addressing the knots with some light pressure would have been more along the lines of what we discussed and what I expected.

The robe they provide for me was previously used.

There have been a couple times when the office was extremely busy. This took away from the relaxing atmosphere and I felt I was being rushed in and out. The soap in the bathroom is $1 soap from Walmart. Little upgrades go a long way. My facial was great as was my esthetician, Court! The office was very accommodating to my schedule. I will be back, but I hope to feel more relaxed on my next visit.

Janel was nice but when I told her I changed my mind on the membership her kindness towards me changed to almost snobbish. She was not as friendly but my facial lady treated me the same and spoke to me and made me feel comfortable and made me feel to return to her. If your nice genuine then be real. I don't want to be around people just to get a sale. I'm was disappointed of how she was because I really lthought she has great customer service especially being my first time . But never the less I had an exceptional great service w brian who massage me and my facial lady .

I let the receptionist know that I wanted a gift card when I checked out, thinking that she could have it ready and added to my bill etc to speed things along. I realize that the girl was in training, but it took a very long time to check out. I was close to skipping the gift card just because of the time involved. They were both very pleasant, but it was so frustrating.
