I was hesitant to ask for more pressure as I know therapist is having wrist problems right now. So I take responsibility for not being highly satisfied. I received a good relaxing massage.

Nearly every visit I have made has been cancelled or rescheduled. I have had little opportunity to return to a therapist I enjoyed.

Hand and Stone needs to hire more therapists as getting in has become very difficult and that is the reason I joined to be able to have all the times available especially Sundays.

The only issue was the aesthetician made too much noise getting items for use during the facial. I also wish the aesthetician would have asked about pressure during the facial massage-I would have liked a firm touch.

I originally cancelled my membership in July 2017. Unfortunately, I did not do a good job looking at my credit card statement and discovered in Jan 2018 that I was still getting charged. Of course, they don't give you a copy of your termination request, so it was my word against theirs. I then AGAIN cancelled my membership. Imagine my surprise when I came in for my appt on Sat 3/3 to find out my membership had not been cancelled, but had been put "on hold." The receptionist then told me that I had "a lot" of services to use and that I had 90 days to use them...I could use them after that, but the portion I paid would be put against the "regular" price...I would not get the "member" price. No one had ever told me this. While I have not issue with the massages and facials I received, I have major issues with the incompetence of the management of this location. I had been told the manager would contact me but she never has. I am not sure what my next step will be but perhaps posting this info on their facebook page, on Yelp and anywhere else I can find. I am very unhappy. Lesson learned. Never sign up for one of these subscription massage/facial type places.

receptionist was busy with other customers, she should have at least acknowledged my presence and after finishing with the customer, respond to me - another client came in and they received service before I did. Receptionist was unable to answer phone also

I'm not sure if Brenda was distracted or this was her normal routine but she did not ask about the neck cradle, move the bolster (either time @beginning or after flip to front), also she did not fold/move down sheet/blanket for back massage she left it up where it was basically when she came in the room. It was bizarre to me, given other massages I've had at other places and at this Hand & Stone. She was friendly and the massage was relaxing, it just lacked what I normally expect I guess in routine. Also, there were times where she would do one thing on one side (like turn my neck to do massage on extended neck/shoulder) and then not do it on the other side. Same with my hands and feet. Speaking of feet, she ended up massaging my feet and THEN my face. It was disturbing to me as that's never done in that order due to dirt/bacteria transference. Like I said, she was pleasant and the massage was relaxing but it was disconcerting and off-balance at times. Overall, this was not the usual wonderful experience I've had at Hand & Stone and I will not ask for Brenda next time I make an appointment.

My experience was good but was not extraordinary. For me to give a highly satisfied rating there would have had to be something really special about the visit and there wasn’t. I am new to Hand and Stone and will be trying out various therapists. I am happy there so far.

The music was a little annoying, too repetitive. I had tried to get appointments for my husband, daughter and myself after we moved her to a new home. Had to wait almost a week and we were all scattered on different days. We all had good massages in the end.

I was satisfied. I just did not receive answer to my question, however she directed me to another Hand and Stone Spa that may answer my question.
