I liked the service that the esthetician provided. She was friendly and competent. However, I can’t recommend Hand and Stone to others since the price increase from $59.95 to $69.95 monthly. I wasn’t even notified before the increase. I received no text message nor e-mail about it. the cost is hard to justify considering I tip $20 to $25.

The overall quality of the experience did not meet the same standards and expectations I had grown accustomed to while visiting a different massage parlor over the last 6 years. I expected more areas of my body to be massaged during the 60 minutes even with my main area of need being my neck and shoulders. I find most massages ease muscle pain while also being relaxing, working through tight muscle areas while also working on hands, feet, scalp for a calming release. The atmosphere was not very relaxing and the massage therapist spoke a lot more than I expected. I ended up incredibly sore in my neck and shoulders after the massage because that is essentially all that was worked for the full time slot, which is probably too much repetition for the muscles to handle. The firmness level was fine as I do like my massages to be quite firm overall, but it was just too much of the same thing over and over.

Appointment started 10 minutes late. Told receptionist about add ons and she couldn't explain the difference between full and mini hot stones as an add on, but the changed the Appointment to a hot stone massage, so when I went to pay it was $80 more than I expected.

For our anniversary we booked my wife. Staff called to confirm they offered the couples package without informing us of the additional charges. This was a disappointing surprise at the end of a great massage.

There was a little confusion with my appt. I received a phone call from reception the day before my appt asking if I had cancelled it. I had not called to cancel, so I’m not sure what happened there. Also the technician did not have the full info on the services I had selected, so I asked her to go to the front desk and confirm.

Just was hoping for a little more pressure as I clicked firm on the intake form but that can be improved next time with me specifically requesting firmer pressure

Finding an appointment at this location is difficult. Additionally, I wanted CBD added on, as its advertised by Hand and stone, but my therapist does not use CBD. The combination of finding an appointment and not being able to add CBD makes it hard to rate it as highly satisfied.

Since my service was 90 minutes I had to use 2 packages. I did not realize this. I am fine with it. However, it would have been nice to know beforehand that if I used two packages for a deep tissue massage, I would lose $9. Had the receptionist been more attentive, I could’ve done an add-on, and thus not have wasted $9. I do understand that she was also busy answering phones, but I do think the receptionists should be trained in the pricing and opportunities so customers could get the most for their money.

Hello, I am very satisfied with Tracy as my therapist...excellent skills, really works on what I need and tries to get me scheduled with her when she can. I find her exceptional. As a member it helps me to have the longer appt. I have arthritic and muscle issues that benefit from a longer time. I have grown to trust Tracy and prefer her services. It has happened on several occasions that my appt. times got mixed up so that I came and was sent home. Covid and the availability of the therapist has made it a difficult year. I have been a loyal client and hope to continue but am turned off by not being able to get my 80 minute appts. Is there a way I can book several appts ahead of time to guarantee that.??? Your location is so convenient, the receptionists have been lovely...I do see rapid turnover, however, which is life, I suppose. And the therapists have come and gone...that is why I prefer to stay with someone I trust...key issue for me.
