Hand and Stone

The esthetician, Elyse, gave me the best facial I've had at Hand and Stone. I will definitely return for more facials as well as a massage from Elyse. I did not choose Highly Satisfied with the experience because the receptionists seemed put-off by my questions. They didn't seem interested in explaining my membership points and services to the degree I needed to understand them. Their demeanor was a little cold and standoffish unfortunately. I also don't like how I haven't been able to book online - the website booking hasn't worked in several weeks, and the front desk had no explanation. I like to earn points that way and being able to see the therapists I've had before. But, again, I was very happy with Elyse's facial!!

The problem area I had pointed out to the therapist was not given any attention. I said I've been having a lot of lower back pain and the therapist did not go passed mid back.

The pressure was so light I could barely feel it. Did not feel like any Swedish massage I have had previously, more like a light skin rub.

Having a difficult time finding a massage therapist who focuses on specific needs with firm pressure. While the therapists are friendly and polite, it feels like they really just have motions they go thru which are exactly the same for everyone.

I think there should be a special senior rate. My message was very good, but I cannot afford to go as often as I need or want. If the service was less expensive, I would go more

Only because my therapist was not there no more. He only knows my needs for massage.he knows how to relax my body and mind.

The appointment was for 1 hour. The massage only lasted 45 minutes.

The receptionist when booking my appointment was not ask knowledgeable about how to book 80 minute massage said they only go on the hour. Asked me if I wanted to use two packages for my 80 minute massage. The upcharge is only $30 why would I use Two packages for this?

A little confusion at checking out and scheduling my next appointment. Due to past problems I called the next day to confirm my next appointment was schedulef

My massage therapist is very good and the location is very convenient. It is the costs with tip that are high. Not sure I see the value the reception staff provide and wonder if they drive up costs. The atmosphere is just ok. There are no special adds on that justify the expense relative to other massage prices (primarily independent therapists).
