The massage therapist was trying to sell me on coming back in a few days which distracted me from really relaxing, especially because he told me to get a service that I can't afford at this moment so soon after another massage. He kept talking about how I needed to come back to really get the benefit but all I wanted to him to do was shut up so I could be relaxed in the present moment.

It was a great experience but my appointment ran short because i had to spend time filling out paperwork, I don’t feel a got a full 60 min massage. I won’t be back but only because I don’t live in the area, or near any other hand and stone

I tried Hand & Stone as an alternative to physical therapy. The physical therapist's touch is too light. I went to Hand & Stone to have someone use harder pressure and trigger point therapy. I felt better after my first visit at the Hamilton location. My second visit at the Hainsport location was good, but not as effective as I thought it would be.

The receptionist did not every say hello to me when I arrived and then sat for a while. I did the self check in after a while but again was not greeted. A simple "Hello, I'll be with you soon" would have been sufficient.

The receptionist was rude and seemed irritated when I asked her questions about a gift card I used. The room was very cold were I was getting my facial. My daughter was there a few weeks ago for her very first massage and told me that the guy who gave j\her a massage made comments about her having the same mole on her back like her mother (me).... I have never been there for a massage. I will not be going to this location again.

When I visit other spas, there are scents used as part of the experience. My nose is always stuffed after I lay on my stomach for a while and a scent might help that without adding to the cost but rather as a pampering tool. The couple room has two lights that point up, it felt a little less soothing with the lighting.

Jenn is my new Therapist since Cookye left and she did a nice job making sure I was very satisfied. She asked about the pressure of my massage and worked the areas I have difficulty. I am still trying to figure out if I will be staying with the salon or moving on with my massage therapist.
