Hand and Stone

I wish there was more area to sit in the lobby. I would also like different music to be played in the massage rooms (possibly natured inspired).

I came with neck, shoulder, upper back tightness and soreness. The therapist did ask if I had any problem areas and I let her know. She concentrated on those areas well and it may have been because I was so tight already but I was in pain the next day, not sore like you can sometimes experience, it hurt. I could have asked for less pressure, but I thought more pressure might relieve me better so I didn't speak up. I don't think it was the therapist's fault, but in the end it didn't provide the 'zen' I was looking for this time.

At check a new receptionist was at the desk and kept my guest waiting for 15 minutes even though at check in I was told by previous receptionist that our appointments were paid for and there was nothing more I needed to do. She was not pleasant and seemed preoccupied talking with the staff than taking care of clients. Needs some client training skills. Most likely will not return as there are too many other options.

I requested more attention given to my foot and heell spur in the heel of my foot. The massage therapist did massage my arch but that is not where she should have focused. I demonstrated where the pain was before she began. She also did not understand what a heel spur was nor what plantar fasciitis is or how to massage for this ailment.

I will return but not in a 90 day period.

I used to be able to book online with the Hainesport, NJ location. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that is an option anymore. Really miss the convenience of that and the ability to see what was available.

Everything went well and I enjoyed it, however I did feel as if the therapist could have had more experience and then a slightly better job. She actually did very well, I have no complaints as my headache went away and so did my back pain, however based on previous experience other spas it could have been better. It felt like some of the time she was massaging was almost wasted effort rather than an actual useful massage. Still, no real complaints and I did get a membership.

My last two visits to the location I was not happy with the massage therapists. They didn't really listen to your needs. I was hesitant to come back to this location. I'm glad I have it a third try. Michelle was wonderful and listened to my instructions and delivered without another request. Pressure was perfect and areas of my back I asked her to focus on she did. I will come back to see her and the gentleman at the front desk is a pleasure to make appointments with and to be greeted by

It was fine. I was a walk in appointment. I would have preferred a female therapist but the male therapist I had wAs pretty good.

My skin was very red a felt burned after the treatment
