Hand and Stone

Masseuse was good. Reception area had too much stuff all over and furniture and counter were too big for the small space.Made it feel too commercial and crowded. Didn't have a nice spa smell if atmosphere when you walked in. Aromatherapy should be automatic unless person requests none. It is as much about the asthetics and smells as it is about the massage and the music. Also could hear other conversations in hallway, reception area and other room. Not the whole time but was distracting when could.

I am a member so I want to be clear that I love this place. My massage was fine however usually when booking I am asked whether I prefer male or female therapist and I'm asked the length of massage (50 minutes, 80 etc.) neither of these questions were asked. I tried to get the 80 minute massage when I arrived and was told I couldn't. I also had a male employee for my massage. I would not make him feel uncomfortable by requesting a change so I went forward with a shorter massage and not having a female. These questions are ALWAYS asked when I book so I feel the employee who handled my booking is uneducated in her position. In the future I will be sure to make these comments instead of assuming they know to ask.

The massage part of the facial was a bit painful.

I asked for a Medium-level message and the therapist had a very heavy hand. I requested that he ease up, but it was still to much. I am a little sore today. I do prefer a female therapist and will request one next time. My therapist was polite and tried to accommodate me, but feeling the effects today. Ouch!

Swedish Massage was great. Therapist was very attentive. She forgot to incorporate the mini hot stone massage before the 50 minute session was up. I enjoy the hot stone more so than the Swedish so I was disappointed.

I had a coupon for my first visit but did not read the small print come to find out it was for a different hand and stone and your place would not honor it I thought all hand and stone were the same other then that everything was great

The most recent massage was great, the time two weeks prior was disappointing. I was three or four minutes late by time I was checked in and(someone was ahead of me) still waited to be called. Appt was at 1, was undressed and on the table by 1:12. Massage was great but when I got up to dress and looked at the clock it had been barely 40 minutes. I understand that the couple minutes late throws off the schedule, however I would have liked the courtesy of being told up front that I would not receive the full time, not afterwards and only when I asked about it. Just a bit disappointed in handling of it but not in the quality of the massage itself.

I left with some neck pain that has continued until today (2/6/17). My skin did feel better but not look better

We had a couples massage and we were very satisfied with the therapists. However, we booked for a couples massage with hot stones and did not receive that service. Initially, I thought it was a miscommunication with booking. As it turned out, it was not. Again, the therapists were highly competent. I just expected more customer service in regards to the length of time I've been a member. It would've been good customer service to waive the couples fee, at the least. I have been one more massage banked and I'm rethinking my membership.
