Hand and Stone

I have had my massage plan for nearly a year and have always been happy. The last massage I actually asked for the therapist I had the month before. I believe she was texting while being very distracted during most of massage. She took a lot of time away from the table and several times I felt the thump of texting with one hand while the other elbow was slowly and hesitantly going down back. I did not say anything because I thought maybe she had a sick kid or something, but I came away highly dissatisfied my time was used. I did not re-book after, but I will. Just not with her.

I feel there is not consistency with the services. Sometimes it’s good & the therapist gives the correct amount of time & other times I have not gotten a full 50 minutes. Also when you pay for an added service it takes away from massage time you’ve paid for.

The massage room was a little during the massage so during the time when I’m not being uncovered and the therapist is adjusting it disrupts the relaxation

I was using a gift card but I don't know why I was asked to give the gift card number over the phone. I couldn't find it at the time so I needed to give a credit card number - even though I'm a member.

The customer and the person working where very loud in the next room the whole time I was getting a facial so much so that my esthetician apologized and was embarrassed.

The massage therapist was very nice but I feel like she lacked experience/knowledge. I had a hot Himalayan salt stone massage, honestly did not feel a difference from regular hot stones. Other than that I did enjoy my quiet relaxing time.

The massage therapist continued to talk during the massage and kept commenting on how she couldn’t wait for her lunch break which was after my massage

This was my first massage at Hand & Stone. I was told a price on the phone when I booked my massage, and the price ended up being much more expensive when it was time to pay... unless I joined. I feel like it was a bait and switch with the price. Not wanting to pay nearly double for my massage, I joined. I am going to have another massage and then decide if I want to keep my membership.

The massage therapist was very friendly but talked too much, not allowing me to truly relax. She also ended the 50 minute session about 5 minutes too early. The aestetician was also very friendly and knowledgeable however she extracted blackheads way too hard. It left red marks on my face for 2 days.

I would have liked a little bit more detailing in my upper back and neck. I’ve been through massages that have gotten all of my kinks out. This massage did not do that
