Hand and Stone

First time there- I have been at other spas in the past. It was nice- I would like the ability to wait in a more tranquil place than out front with other customers and the bright sunshine.

Appointment didn't start on time.

Massage was too rough and not relaxing. Peppermint massage was TOO much smell was over the top! I like annnapolis hand and stone better

Great service but many of the services/treatments are extra and it can get a little pricey. They only carry one line of products to purchase which are expensive. There is a small sample kit but of coarse it did not have the product that was most recommend for me. I appreciated the aesthetician's knowledge and recommendations that were never pushy.

Overall is great. Personalization would make it highly satisfied.

My massage was great and overall experience. The membership was poorly explain and even after signing up there are so many additional fees we were never made aware of. Gifting should not cost extra and we were told we could but never told it would cost more. Also never told booking a couple was more also per person. On top of my monthly membership fee I sent an additional $50 in fees just bring a friend with me to enjoy your services. It would have been less expensive not to be paying monthly and just paid the non member price.

Thomas was a little awkward at first. Didn't seem very comfortable himself. His tummy was growling and he had heavy breathing, but I got used to it. And I was very happy with the massage and impressed with his knowledge of Lymphedema and his willingness to work around my condition. I thought someone else was supposed to do my facial but thomas did that too. It felt nice, but not exactly what I expected. Was hoping for some kind of peel or something. but again, still nice.

After massage, waited more then 15 minutes to make my next appt because the receptionist was dealing with an unhappy customer. When time came to make next appt thought receptionist did, but when checked online at later time, the next appt wasn't book and desired therapist was now not available.

I was not comfortable during the service, therapist seemed ill. I always have difficulty finding appt. times that fit my schedule. Care just doesn't seem as good as at other places.

The wax used for my service (honey wax) was very sticky and didn't do as well as other spas in the past. It made it more painful :(
