When I booked add ons for my massage it was not clearly outlined that it would cut into the 1 hour time of my massage. I would have forgone the add on to just experience the massage. It seemed like a rip off especially compared to the other massage places in Ann Arbor.

The classic facial was listed as lasting an hour. Mine, although excellent, lasted about 45 minutes, including the advertising of add-ons which I did not want.

Front desk did not notify my therapist that I had arrived and was waiting. I was billed incorrectly and it took two phone calls to resolve the issue. The front desk clerk did not use my membership credit for the massage ad charged me the full amount. I did not receive a receipt or total of the charges on the spot, so I didn't know until i received the email receipt.

I mean no insult. I have not had a message in many years, so I feel I have a lack of experience / knowledge ton which o base a "highly satisfied" rating at this point.

I was very satisfied with my Hand and Stone experience. My masseuse was very knowledgeable and did a great job, but it was just a bit too much talking for my taste. I felt I couldn't fully relax because he kept asking me questions about lifestyle (that might contribute to the tension), areas I wanted to be massaged, etc. I would have preferred to have all those questions asked during a consultation beforehand (even if it took a few more minutes), then have been left to fully relax during my massage.

The $10 transfer fee to the subscribing person is…disappointing and feels like a money grab.

Because I was waiting for the front desk to finish with another customer and because the appointment did not start on time I was not highly satisfied but I was definitely very satisfied with the overall experience other than a slight delay.
