Just started 15 minutes late. But Maureen was worth the wait! And she was probably late because she was giving detailed attention to her last client! She is the best therapist I've had there

I find the experience I’ve been having each time I’ve visited to not be worth the value I’m being charged. I’m going to give it a 3rd try to decide on whether I’m keeping the membership or not.

I did not know when I scheduled that Joey was a male. I was uncomfortable. Joey was very nice but I definitely prefer a woman. You need to ask clients if they prefer a man or woman.

The experience was very good. I do not have any complaints. Thanks for working me in. I will return for future services.

I received a gift certificate for a facial.. when I got there the gal said for 20.00 more you can get another treatment! I don’t like up selling. I’m not sure I would become a member but 100 or a massage or facial is pretty high. I will check our hand and stone in the villages, Fl but I doubt their prices are less. I thought the facial was 59.00.. again misleading

There was a miscommunication between the front desk and the therapist about the services I was to receive. The hand treatment felt rushed and not very relaxing. There was a lot of upselling through the whole experience.

I am from an area with very high Spa standards, (ex hot springs, pools, mineral baths, etc...). For the products offered and the Spa setting that the space allows for, Hand and Stone has done a wonderful job. I love the people there and always feel welcome.

There was excessive talking in the massage room next door. The continuous conversation was disruptive to the experience.

I try to book everything online and it seems like when I do this there is always a follow up phone call which I have to then return b/c my phone doesn't have service in the building I work in. It's just annoying. Also, the massage I choose or add ons I want do not transfer from online to the appointment. I've tried adding things but by the time I'm at the appointment the therapist/esthetician has no idea. I ordered the buy 2 get 1 free Black Friday gift cards and when I picked them up they were made into a "couple's massage" - which I only inquired about and then the receptionists couldn't refund the extra amount for the couple's massages up-cost. So now I have a couples massage for a couple that can't schedule an appointment at the same time and the receptionists told me they can use the cards and still come in separately. I hope that is the case. Although it isn't what I wanted.

I am a bit of a newbie to facials (and spa services in general). When my esthetician left me in the room to put on the robe, she didn't give me any instructions, I had to ask and she made me feel dumb for asking. My esthetician tried to upsell me, which is fine, but when I declined she basically stopped talking to me at all. She didn't communicate any of the stuff she was doing to my face the entire time. There was a time when I had a sheet face mask on for like 10-15 minutes (is that normal?). It feels like that's a little weird. But I think she did do a good facial otherwise, I enjoyed how my skin felt and looked after. The service was just weird and off-putting though.
