I sometimes have difficulty finding evening appointments. I book my appointments online mostly and have some difficulty with the site from time to time; won't let me go back to change service or employee.

As I told Abdul, one of the best massages I've ever received. Effective pressure, knowledgable on stretches and very professional. Slightly overpriced still, but good massage.

Priced a little higher than most other places I’ve been, especially for a “membership” business (priced more like a high end day spa). Feel like therapists are trying to push additional services. Massage advertised as 1 hour but more like 45 minutes.

It’s overall a bit too expensive. Lately it doesn’t seem to be benefiting me to remain being a member. I’m being charged a lot and it isn’t going towards my typical membership amount.

It took TOO LONG to check out and schedule my next appointment. Also, 80% of the time, my appointment starts 10 minutes late.

My initial experience with Hand and Stone was very typical of a spa setting. It was an average experience. The massage was typical and the therapist listened to my requests and checked in with me periodically. My second experience was not at all what I had hoped for. While I arrived on time, I waited for nearly 10 min before I got into the room. Then the therapist decided to use a common technique, myofacial release to address my areas of complaint. He applied too much pressure when I had indicated that I did not want deep pressure, and as a therapist he should have known that MFR is less about intense pressure and more about the fluidity of moving the soft tissues slowly and deliberately. It was a solid approach and may have worked very well for another client who required deeper tissue work, but just wasn’t for me. The session ended on time by the clock, but meant I was on the table for only about 45 min. If table time is less than 60 min for an hour long massage, this should be communicated to your clientele. The therapist was very talkative.

My first session. The clerks were somewhat confusing especially of the location. My therapist was outstanding.

Massage bed was cold, therapist’s stomach was growling throughout session and was distracting during the massage

I was very surprised that the trigger point massage was actually an additional charge. I was not made aware of this before the session. I have previously requested trigger point style massage without paying additional $20 fee. It was an unpleasant surprise at the end of my massage session.
