I really liked the therapist John - excellent massage, listened to requests, worked out my problem areas. The atmosphere is a bit too new age and sales of products is very in your face with the large display.

My service was cut 5 mins short for a reason unknown to me. I wasn't aware that my esthetician would be a man, it was a surprise. Nothing was unusual about the facial but I feel like a woman would have been more gentle and quiet at certain points during the service. Also, the neck and shoulder massage had a weird energy, it wasn't relaxing.

The massage room was not as relaxing as I had hoped and it felt hurried

I did not like the lotion that was used, it felt like it took two showers to get if off as it was oily. My therapist was good but not great. that's all

It is not a good value. Average price is $1/min, and I essentially am spending $69.95 for a 50min massage, and suggested gratuity is on “$100 value”. I do not feel like Hand and Stone is above average in terms of quality, ambiance, or products used in order to pay a premium.

Frequent change of the therapists.

I received a facial. I was unhappy that all the white heads under my right eye were not taken off and are still there. For a facial to coast $120. and the treatment to last 45 minutes without complete results is concerning.

I purchases a gift card special in July. When I came to my next appointment, they used my entire gift card for only half the service. I should have had one service left on the gift card, but they instead only refunded me 40.00 of the 100.00 service that I should have had left on the card.

We had a couples massage and my partners therapist was not as good as others he has had in the past.

I also got a prenatal massage. It was amazing but my massage therapist was running late from a previous appointment. I don't mind this at all as I feel spending time with clients to ensure satisfaction is important. However, I know my massage didn't start until late and finished on time, thus kind of cheating me of a few minutes of my massage. It's a very small detail but to someone who can't get a lot of time in for massages every minute counts. However, I loved my massage therapist and the massage and this will not keep me from coming back. Maybe just something to address with employees in general.
