Music and aroma in the room would be much appreciated. The service can surely always be more economical. I leave work rather late, so the hours don’t always work for me

The massage was good, as was the atmosphere and general cleanliness. The staff were courteous and attentive. My primary point for improvement was the lack of mask-wearing when I had indicated that I wished that the therapist do so, since I have low white blood cells. The massage I received this visit was very good, it just wasn't the best massage I have ever received.

The ambiance of the place was nice. I had checked the box in the forms I filled for my massage therapist to ear a mask and she didn't have one when she greeted me. The music didn't seem to play in my room either so that lessened the ambiance. Although I did get a relaxing massage, I wanted more pressure and focus on my neck and back areas but I didn't really get the pressure that I was looking for.

Any information needed should have been asked when appointment was made over the telephone, not at time of appointment.

I requested a practitioner with a mask when I filled out my online forms, but she had no knowledge of this and I had to ask in person. This was awkward and unnecessary. There is a global respiratory pandemic happening and masks should be the norm when spending over 5 minutes in a closed room. Then, my massage began without any intake whatsoever; presumably, it doesn't matter what my body is like, how it's feeling, or if I'm experiencing any issues. This is the main reason why I will not return and cannot recommend Hand & Stone to literally anyone. But also, a 60-minute massage should be around 50 minutes, not 45 minutes including wiping off heavy, greasy oil with wet towels. I received maybe 42 minutes of massage for a 60-minute session, which feels like low-level theft. Do better, Hand & Stone.

I don’t feel that I got my entire hour. Also, she didn’t work on my trouble areas, and she didn’t ask what pressure I wanted.

easy to schedule close to work and no real waiting around

The esthetician did not focus on my target areas. She stated she would do extractions and she did not. The time of the facial appointment was also cut short (47 minutes). I did not feel like the facial was helpful to the overall health and glow of my skin, even when I opted for the upgrade of microdermabrasion.

It was not best, but not the worst. Waited for a bit, nothing crazy. Was ok

I thought I would feel more relaxed after my massage. The spa needs to offer more services. I was happy with the first-time discount.
