The therapist was not very engaging. She seemed a little uncomfortable. She gave me water after I got dressed but did not share anything about her findings from my massage, no recommendations and didn't advise me to drink plenty of water - which is standard.

My experience was awesome! I will be back next month.

I purchase the peppermint oil scalp rub, I felt he used too much oil and it got too close to my eyes, also the oil was not mixed with anything to make it “glide” easily like coconut oil or massage oil. Also, no face massage which I think should always be part of the massage unless the client asks to not have it. He did both of my feet at once and I think he should have spend time independently on each foot.

I would have prefered a slightly slower technique for the massage. I also think the waiting room could have more options available while waiting, like tea.

I had a great experience at Hand and Stone like I do every time I go, but nothing was out of the ordinary so that's why I wasn't highly satisfied, but I will continue with my membership and stay a loyal client. I also think that at the end of the massage you should get a hot towel to wipe off all the excess lotion.

It is in a strange building. The front door and stair well is odd, cold and seems a little unsafe. But once inside, it is a very pleasant experience. The massage therapists are wonderful.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience however I did not select "highly satisfied" for a few reasons. One, I was disappointed that my typical massage therapist no longer works at Hand & Stone so this was my first appointment with a new therapist and she was amazing. I did not communicate enough about my problem areas and I now know for next time. My therapist was wonderful and I will be returning for another visit with her. I think I was just working the kinks out this past visit.

Would prefer to be able to book directly online but either one doesn’t exist or it is not made visibly very well.

I paid for a 60 min massage. Even though I arrived 20 mins early, the appointment began 15 mins late. The massage also ended 5 mins early. The therapist never asked me if the pressure was good. I felt rude interrupting and also didn't know if he would increase pressure but he just kept doing the same strokes over and over again. He was very nice and professional, so no issues there. I just only got a 40 min massage when I paid for 1 hour.
