Hand and Stone

Was brought back late, which would have been fine if the therapist still did a full 50 minutes. However, she still ended at minute “50” on the clock so I lost 8 minutes of massage time which was disappointing and that 8 minutes, especially when focusing on a problem area could have really made a difference.

New massage therapist for me. Maybe next time will be better.

It's not something I normally do so I have no frame of reference how the service would compare with any other massage spa.

This is now my chosen Hand and Stone to go to. They always have available appointments. They also listen to exactly what I want when it comes to pressure and areas of my body that need the most attention.

I had a great facial and had to wait for my massage therapist who was running behind He was great, asked the right questions and addressed my problem area, but the massage was jerky, not smooth and i was not relaxed when i was done..usually i dont want to move after a session, but this time i hopped right up.

The receptionist that was there when I first arrived had her head down on the desk, basically asleep. She acted like checking me in was a nuisance to her and was such a bothersome task. She was not friendly or positive at all. Didn't make me feel good about coming in. However, the receptionist that greeted me at the end was SO friendly and helpful. I was a little upset because I came in for a facial and apparently basically any kind of "specialized" facial costs $20 more... everyone "needs" something meaning no one can really benefit from the basic facial. After add on services, I just spent way more than I was planning/wanted to spend. I did sign up for a membership and was happy with my results and the knowledge of my esthetician, just at that price, I am not sure I can keep going as often as I want to/should. It's a shame. If you guys had more deals or allowed basic facials to be more specialized, I would come every 3 weeks and would even get the add on light package. But I can't afford the light, basic facial, the detox add on, AND a tip.

Massage therapist was asked to increase pressure but it still wasn’t enough for my problem area

The table got too hot for me. I mentioned it to the therpiast and he quickly fixed the issue.

The therapist is excellent. I would find the massage highly satisfying if the oil could be hot and even warm.
